812 is the second out truck on all structure fires. The truck is a 1991 with 1,500 gallons of water and a 1,500 gpm pump. All of the pump controls are located on the drivers side contorl panel. This truck has 2 pre-connected 200 foot 1 1/2" attack lines, 1,000 feet of 4" Large Diameter Hose, and 20' of 6 inch hard suction hose. The hard suction hose can be connected via the front mount suction or through the side suction. The truck carries a portable pond, 4 ISI air packs, generator, and various hand tools. The purpose of this truck at any structure fire is to supply the primary attack truck, 811, with water. It also acts as a backup should the primary truck experience a failure or breakdown. |
