831 is the Mayfield Fire Departments rescue truck. This is the primary vehicle for all EMS calls, car accidents, and other incidents where medical attention may be required. In addition to carrying medical supplies this truck also carries extrication equipment, forced entry tools, the Jaws of Life, and various other tools needed for extrications and rescues. EMS equipment includes basic first aid supplies, Oxygen, epi pens (for treating allergic reactions), glucose, AED, suction equipment, vartious backboards and splints, and CO2 detector. |
