The chiefs vehicle is used by the fire chief and the chief has the vehicle at all times. The vehicle is equipped with extra turn out gear, fire police vest, flashlights, barricades, scene tape, and various forms and writing equipment. The vehicle is the designated command post at all calls, when the vehicle is on scene. In addition to being outfitted with the county high band radios it also has low band radios for use in mutual aid situations. |
